I was listening to this podcast with my daughter. She is 9. She said, “mom..he sounds like somebody I have heard before..”. And then she said that he sounds like Mahatma Ghandi or Martin Luther King Jr. SO good!! I thought the Robcast world would like that.

Thanks Rob for such useful podcast in so many ways. One question that kept coming to mind though is what about when Jesus turned the tables over in the temples, surely that was hammer power? Surely, there is a time and a place for it (though admittedly rare). As a minister in there 30's (just) for 6 years starting at a similar age to you, I found the last 15 mins or so SO helpful. Thank you.

A tear-filled, heartfelt thank you for your laser focused, ruthless, shameless, loving and bullsh-tless pursuit of biblical truth. My fourteen your old taught me recently when you are hell-bent you will succeed with every roadside pointing away, and the knowing glances from family and friends are painful. You know the ones that say well when you raise them in this godless, institutionless, open and affirming - - insert mamby pamby left handed, smelly - - fashion what do you think you are going to get? This helps me be reminded that I am not alone in trying to do it differently. Words fail...

I have never met another Midnight Oil fan except my dad! He introduced me to them when their album Earth and Sun and Moon came out, and I still love that album. It was one we always listened to on family road trips. A very "Jesusy" band, in my book.
