The Psalms really are wonderful examples of this showing the cycle of disorientation & reorientation.

I think it’s comforting to consider that even though our society doesn’t value ‘lostness’- (It values clarity & achievement.) there are so many stories in the Bible about people being lost & good coming from it: Abraham, Moses, Ruth, Joseph.
